September 22nd-24th Dane John Gardens
Every year Canterbury has their food and drink festival. I decided to go along this year to see which gluten free finds there were!
There were so many lovely stalls, and I was impressed with the choices there were!
The stalls I came across with gluten free options were.
• Dunk Cookies, they have gluten free cookies and a vegan option too. These honestly were the best gluten free cookies ever! So gooey and no crumbling at all!
• Duck Wraps, they had a gluten free duck salad with duck fat potatoes! This sounded amazing and I wish I’d had tried it!!
• French Crepes, they did a range of sweet and savoury crepes and had a gluten free mix too! These were super yummy!
• Wrap It, they offered a range of wraps from all around the world. Eg. Chinese, Greek and Indian etc. I’m not sure what the gluten free option was, I think it may have been a salad option!
• Pad Thai, they offered a range of gluten free dishes, from what I gathered they were all rice dishes!
I feel like there was a good range of options and not just the classic gluten free choices!
I can’t wait to try more food festival and discover more food stalls catering for gluten free!!
